Ahmaris is a faith-centered matchmaking concierge. This policy explains what we collect through our website and mobile app, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account details: name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and gender.
Application information: your answers to the Relationship Readiness Questionnaire, your profile (city, state, bio, interests, whom you are seeking), and photos you upload.
References: the name and email of a person you ask to recommend you, and the letter they submit.
Messages: conversations you have with members you are introduced to.
Background check status: whether a check you consented to was completed and its outcome, provided by our screening partner. We do not receive or store the underlying report.
Scheduling: the time of interviews you book through our scheduling partner.
Technical data: device type, app version, and basic diagnostics needed to keep the service working.

How we use it

To review your application and decide whether to offer membership.
To craft thoughtful introductions between members, including a concierge-written summary of who you are.
To let members you are introduced to see your first name, age, city, photo, bio, and interests once both of you accept.
To send you account emails such as verification codes, task reminders, and introduction updates.
To keep the community safe and to comply with the law.

Sensitive information

The questionnaire asks about your faith, relationship history, and personal habits. We collect these answers only because they are central to the matchmaking service you are applying for. They are visible to your concierge and are never shown to other members in raw form.

Sharing

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only with:

Members you are introduced to, limited to the profile details described above.
Service providers that host our data, deliver email, schedule interviews, and run background checks, each bound to use it only on our behalf.
Authorities when required by law or to protect the safety of a member.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your application or membership is active. You may ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@ahmaris.com from the address on your account. We will remove your profile, photos, questionnaire answers, and messages within 30 days, keeping only what the law requires us to retain.

Your choices

You can update your profile at any time in the app.
You can decline any introduction without giving a reason.
You can request a copy of your information or ask us to correct it.

Children

Ahmaris is for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
